I'd rather own the Merc but that Porsche looks incredible. The Merc has a very Viper/Vette-esque look to it too (not that thats a bad thing)

I know, right? anytime I see the new AMG GT I think what could have been and it stops me from loving that car. ffs the formula is so simple: kompressor badge, that front end, that side exhaust, and those doors. The perfect looking GT

The tech in the 918s are cool, but that Sterling Moss actually looks a billion times better as a coupe. If that was a 918 with a different design, it would be a hard choice, but even still I think I would choose the Mercedes.

id even be ok with the likely never-going-to-happen-panamera-based 928. unfortunately i dont think it would happen because unlike in the 70s-80s when the original 928 was launched, the current 911 has increased in size, power and luxury to the point where a modern 928 would likely cannibalize sales. that is unless they upped it to an extreme-luxury GT to compete with the FF or other +$200,000 front engined continent stompers... have some GTS's for your time. :)

Take it from a guy who spent plenty of time with his dad's 2010 SLK. That front end looks like shit from certain angles in person.
The new front end is way better imo.

Geeez, they are both sexy but the Merc is a tad better. BUT, I would have to drive them, it would come down to which I liked to drive. I still might choose my 240Z.
